So it seems that prior to silence there must have been a lot of dialogue between both!

Amelo14: Welcome to my blog.
What you say is quite true. It could have been dialogue or argument. Or the other person knows this person so well that he knows why she is silent.
Is true…
Silence make people think, people tend to think to negative side all the time…
DVsT: So true. Negative thoughts are as much part of life as the positive ones. It is just that silence is associated with inaction and no thought. Not easy to make out.
Ships that pass in the night and speak each other in passing; Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice; then darkness again and a silence.
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Xntricpundits: This is a really good.
Silence can work for me today but perhaps it won’t work today to convey to you if you are not tuned in.
From an old song:
“Turn on your receiver
There’s a message coming through…”
I can’t think of any more of the words of that but it’s enough for me for now.
Peace always, all ways.

RS: That’s a good point, even if two people are tuned in and one of them is not in best of their moods, this could result in silence not conveying what it needs.
Very nice!!
