I think we need to accept the reality than to consider it as a compromise bcoz terming it as compromise will make us unhappy and that will affect us…
what if reality comes to terms with me? Is reality then compromising
Reality is an illusion and we can accept it or reject it. I am not sure either constitutes a compromise.
As my lecturer always said…
Don’t think too much of it,
Just accept it and proceed to next stage.

Reality does not come to terms with you. The conditions are favourable and so the reality and your expectations match in that case. So the one line which I framed will get ignored or not noticed at all

Now this is a real good perspective. Your response explains why it is not a compromise in any case. For me, reality shapes a lot of things that makes me feel guilty or compromised. But when I bend to attend to reality, it does hurt me somewhere. That is why the one line here in the form of a question to test if others feel the same.
DSvT: True. Only way to go ahead is to let this go and as Prashant mentioned, not to think of it as a compromise.
